These components sit inside of a bolt carrier machined from hardened 8620 steel, which is finished smooth without any forward-assist serrations.Finished with a nickel-boron treatment that reduces surface friction and adds durability, the Wilson Combat Ar .308 Bolt Carrier Assembly features a properly staked gas key and is designed to allow for a perfect, drop-in fit into any DPMS-pattern AR .308 rifle without a forward assist.
