The Wilson Combat AR-15 Recon Barrel is purpose-built for such a rifle.Machined entirely from 416R stainless steel, each Wilson Combat AR-15 Recon Barrel features fluting that’s designed to eliminate excess weight from the platform while enhancing the rigidity of the barrel. An additional added benefit is the increased surface area, which provides greater cooling for long strings of fire. The rifle barrel is built also with a mid-length gas system.
