Now, almost half a century later, the company is going back to its roots and updating this famous design, giving customers an enhanced version built with the benefit of experience and modern technology.The Wilson Combat #1 Competition Match Trigger drops into most production 1911s on the market, requiring little-to-no fitting. Once installed, all that’s required is minor final adjustment from the consumer. The trigger itself features an aluminum pad with a serrated face and a matte-silver finish. The trigger features a three-hole design that’s lighter than factory triggers and is designed to prevent trigger bounce that occurs after the hammer falls.Each #1 Competition Match Trigger features a bow machined from hardened stainless steel, which is polished to a fine finish and includes take-up tabs that allow shooters to adjust trigger pre-travel distance. The trigger also features an overtravel screw that allows users to adjust backlash.
