Many popular .40 S&W defensive loads fire a light bullet at a high velocity to produce better expansion. This inexpensive range ammunition from Sellier & Bellot is an excellent training stand-in for those loads, as it produces similar external ballistics without the extra cost of a sophisticated hollow point projectile. Each round in this case of 1,000 fires a 165 grain full metal jacket bullet at 1,050 feet per second. This ammo is made in the Czech Republic using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
