The full metal jacket construction of the cartridge is an affordable choice for high volume range training. The boat-tail design of this 5.56 bullet is used by the military due to better aerodynamics and therefore a longer effective range and higher accuracy than the original flat-base design. The reloadable brass makes this 5.56 round an even better deal.
