ODIN Works 9 mm Atlas Compensator 1/2-28 ThreadsThe 3-piece modular design of the ODIN Works 9mm Atlas Compensator requires no shims or crush washer, making installation and proper timing fast and simple. The core and cap are made of 416R stainless steel for toughness and longevity. The Titanium sleeve is lightweight, strong, and has a tumbled grey look. It also has angled ports that control muzzle rise and reduce recoil. The Black Nitride finish provides protection and combined with the Titanium sleeve, gives the set a stunning 2-Tone appearance.ODIN Works offers two thread patterns for the 9mm Atlas Compensators, 1/2×28 and 1/2×36. There is a 5.56, a 6.5 Grendel, and a 7.62 Atlas Compensator available as well.NOTE: 416R is a Crucible brand steel that was specifically designed for building barrels. Most types of steel, including factory 416SS are not designed to be used in freezing environments. But this steel was designed to operate in arctic temperatures, down to -40F degrees. 416R steel also has greater accuracy potential than normal 416SS and 4150 steel due to its ability to take highly defined rifling and machining cuts.NOTE: Be SURE to check the threads on your AR Barrel when you are installing a new comp. It is very easy to cross thread and/or install the wrong compensator. Always double check and be very sure of what you are installing.
