This subsonic load, the 208 grain A-Max is built for AR-15 type platform rifles. It is compatible for guns chambered in the 300 AAC Blackout and is an excellent choice for tactical situations.
The aerodynamic secant ogive profile of the sharp, pointed tip and unmatched concentricity give the A-Max an extremely high ballistic coefficient for near perfection in flight. After closely studying the performance of bullets for more than half a century, Hornady has incorporated every aspect of what makes a bullet accurate into the A-Max. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
