One of the limiting factors in laser-aiming devices is the concept of beam divergence, which can also be seen in flashlights to a greater degree. Beams widen as distance increases, and for lasers, this limits their effectiveness to a certain range. However, the Holosun LE117 Elite Collimated Laser features special construction designed to minimize beam divergence, allowing this unit to be used at greater distances than most laser-aiming devices.
Each Holosun LE117 Elite Collimated Laser is constructed on a durable, Titanium body and is IPX8-certified waterproof. The system is powered by a CR2032 battery and mounts to any standard Picatinny rail, thanks to the use of a quick-release mount.
