Glock® gave its Gen5 pistols plenty of upgrades, including the Gen5 Trigger Pin optimized to work harmoniously with the upgraded Gen5 ambidextrous slide stop. Making sure this pin is not worn, cracked, or otherwise not fully doing its job is critical to the trigger continuing to function.Similar to the pin on the G43, the two slots on Gen5 Trigger Pin are shallower and wider than previous generations, meaning they engage the ambidextrous slide stop lever in two spots instead of one like the old-style trigger pins.The Gen5 Trigger Pin is not compatible with older-generation Glock® pistols.
