Straight flutes gives Faxon’s 6.5 Grendel Heavy Fluted Barrel a classic look target rifle look, while the 5R button rifling inside makes the most of the 6.5 Grendel round’s accuracy potential. Unlike traditional rifling, the lands and grooves are offset with 5R rifling, preventing bullet distortion as it travels down the bore. Manufactured from high-grade 416R stainless steel at Faxon’s state-of-the-art Cincinnati, Ohio, facility, the 6.5 Grendel Heavy Fluted Barrel is nitride coated inside and out for resistance to corrosion and surface wear.
