It’s a drop-in replacement for a mil-spec catch that offers a significantly larger contact surface that’s easier to locate and release the bolt when you’re under stress. Pronounced serrations running in two directions give you an excellent, non-slip surface, while the raised “T-Shaped” heel provides a distinct, positive control surface for secure bolt lock back.As Cast Enhanced AR-15 Bolt Catch’s name indicates, Battle Arms achieved its impressive combination of ergonomic efficiency and low price-point by investment casting the part.
