With precision handloads and an expert behind the trigger, this 18†308 Modern Series tactical barrel delivers tack-driving performance.
Machined from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel for long life, the Modern Series 18″ .308 barrel is further given a quench-polish-quench (QPQ) case hardening that delivers superior corrosion resistance. The M4 feed ramp is also treated with the QPQ, so your finished rifle will devour whatever ammo you feed it. The .308 18″ mid-length barrel is threaded 5/8 x 24 for your favorite accessories. It has a .750″ gas block. Put this on a polymer or skeletonized metal lower, and you have a Modern Series 18″ .308 government barreled firearm you can carry all day without noticing the weight.
