The company’s ARCALock Universal Flat Rail solves this issue while still providing the benefits of the ARCA mechanism.Each Area 419 ARCALock Universal Flat Rail features a proprietary clamp design that mechanically locks the serrated sides of the rail into place, and the unit is backwards-compatible with all standard ARCA-style accessories on the market. Each edge and corner on the unit is radiused, so there’s no way to cut or snag on any side of the rail. The entire unit is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a Type 3 hard-coat anodizing.Area 419 designers initially developed its ARCALock Universal Flat Rail with the Manners Composite Stock in mind, but the unit can be used with a range of stocks with an accessible front-action screw or front-attachment point.
