Manufactured by A.L.S. Technologies, the leader in “Less Than Lethal†ammunition, each of these factory fresh 2 3â„4-inch shotshells is loaded with a 1.75 x 2 Teflon coated, pliable ballistic bag. These ballistic “bean bags†are filled with 26 grams of lead shot and are designed to induce pain compliance through blunt force trauma. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 200 to 250 feet per second, these bags transfer 90 to 120 foot pounds of energy at 25 yards. Intended for escalation of force from a safe distance, these rounds should be used when less than lethal ammunition is optimal.

Each package contains 9 rounds of A.L.S. 12 gauge Power Punch Bean Bag ammunition. While these loads are specially engineered to provide a “less than lethal†option for law enforcement applications, they should be used with extreme caution. As with all ammunition, there is the risk of injury or death, especially when fired at close range. The risk of death and injury is increasedwhen fired at a distance of less than 12 feet.
