rThis 5.56 ammo by OMPC is loaded with a 62 grain FMJ – a little heavier than the usual weight of 55 grains, and accordingly able to retain greater momentum over longer ranges. Like the M855, the SS109 bullet’s defining feature is its steel tipped core. This renders the bullet strong enough to punch through barriers although it also makes the bullet able to attract a magnet. Make sure your range is cool with that before you take this ammo there!
