This is 7.62x51mm 149 grain full metal jacket ammunition from Federal’s Lake City facility. Mil-Spec in brand new brass boxer-primed casings with fresh annealing, you won’t find much better 7.62x51mm range ammo. The 149-grain FMJ projectile in this round is a tried and true bullet for some great quality range use.
rPlease note that these rounds do use true Mil-Spec XM80 projectiles. That means they do contain steel (ie the bullets are magnetic). Be sure to check with the range you intend to shoot these rounds at in order to make sure they allow the use of magnetic ammo (some ranges claim the rounds tear up the backstops faster).
