The “B†in this Golden Saber round’s BJHP designation indicates just what is so special about it. Because this 9mm +P cartridge’s 124 grain bullet has a jacket made of cartridge brass rather than significantly softer copper, it is strong enough to resist deformation during ignition, able to smash through common urban barriers with relative ease, and penetrate exceptionally deeply even after parting with a great deal of its muzzle velocity. The BJHP bullet retains its weight marvelously, even after having made a trip through something so substantial as a car windshield, and also features special spiral cut serrations in its nose which promote rapid and wide expansion at lower velocities. In a world with so many types of JHPs, Remington’s BJHP is one that really stands out in the crowd!
rThe only golden part about this round is its bullet (in color only, of course — we don’t sell golden bullets, because we’re not even sure which mythological creatures they’re effective against). Its casing is a silvery hue because it wears a thin layer of nickel, which enhances its lubricity for smooth feeding and ejection, shields it against corrosion, and makes it altogether easier to spot in a pistol’s chamber. This round’s Boxer primer and clean burning propellant are just as reliable, too!
