rWhat’s the deal with the “NATO†part of this ammo’s name? Well, the NATO specs for 9mm call for loading it a little hotter than the typical American range load, and the fact that this round’s 124 grain FMJ bullet hits about 1,200 fps at the 20 yard mark showcases that perfectly. It’s almost but not quite as fast as a 9mm +P, so you can benefit from a flatter trajectory while you’re working targets over at the shooting gallery.
rZQI loads their NATO spec ammo in new, brass, and perfectly reloadable brass cases. Each round in this box carries smokeless propellant and a non-corrosive Boxer primer. None of that Berdan fuss which only complicates handloading.
