Description
Hey! Before you order, make sure you’re not looking for 9mm ammo. This is 9mm Makarov, which the Russians intentionally designed not to work in our 9mm pistols.
rThanks for sticking with us during that disclaimer. Now that we’ve cleared all the Glock owners out of the room, let us tell you about this 9mm Makarov ammo by Wolf! It’s true Russian ammo, and we’re sure you know what that means – lots of steel!
rThis round sports a 94 grain full metal jacket bullet. It’s nothing too fancy, just a lead core with a round nose profile that is hard enough to feed reliably out of a magazine and avert deformation once fired. The most important thing about this bullet is its bimetal jacket, which cuts down on production costs by replacing a lot of copper with steel. You bet your mukluks it’s magnetic!
rThis round’s case is made out of steel as well. It has a polymer coating which serves well to smooth out feeding and extraction as well as fight off corrosion during storage, but one thing it won’t do is reload. Unlike so much Russian milsurp ammo, Wolf’s Berdan primers are non-corrosive.
