Description
This isn’t Tula’s regular magnetic ammunition! This 380 ACP ammo’s 95 grain full metal jacket bullets each contain exactly two components: a lead core, and a solid brass coating. The bullet cannot attract a magnet without any steel in its core or jacket, which suits this ammo perfectly for use at ranges which ban magnetic bullets!
rThis ammo is otherwise just like what you are accustomed to from Tula (assuming you are accustomed to Tula’s ammo). Each cartridge’s non-expanding FMJ projectile is seated in a solid steel case, which is zinc-plated to promote smoother feeding and prevent the formation of rust in storage.
rA steel case cannot expand to seal the chamber during ignition, which does admittedly lead to relatively dirtier performance, and it is not worth trying to handload. Tula also loads cost-effective Berdan primers, but they cannot produce hygroscopic salts during ignition and therefore will not enable rust to harm your pistol.
rWhen we say this ammo is “nonmagnetic,†we are referring only to its bullets. Its steel cases are very much certain to attract a magnet.
