Description
38 S&W does not work in 38 Special firearms.
rDo you know what we call a man who enjoys firing classic revolvers at the range? We call him “our kind of guy.†Here is the 38 S&W ammo our kind of guy needs in order to shoot paper or steel!
rThis cartridge is loaded with a lightweight 145 grain bullet, so its muzzle velocity is about 100 fps faster than the original 38 S&W that came out in the 1870s. (It’s still safe for classic firearms.) Fiocchi does load 38 S&W with FMJ projectiles, although this particular ammo features a lead round nose instead. The LRN appears darker than usual because it is coated with a substance that reduces barrel fouling. Because the LRN is copper-free, it effectively minimizes the risk of dangerous splashback while you’re shooting steel targets at close range.
rFiocchi uses high-quality components all the way through. This round’s Boxer primer is non-corrosive, and its brass cases are reloadable. Its hardworking propellant delivers a reliable muzzle velocity under a wide range of temperatures, burns at a rate which reduces felt recoil, and produces very little overall fouling.
