Description
Remington’s Performance WheelGun line of ammunition doesn’t pull any punches with its name. These are the cartridges you need when you want a flawless session at the range with your 38 Special or 357 Magnum revolver in hand. But if you’re a cowboy packing a Henry, you’ll find the old American manufacturer’s all-purpose training ammo just as handy!
rThis cartridge has the oldest type of bullet (the musket ball notwithstanding). The lead round nose is a more economical bullet design as it doesn’t require copper, and as the result it is less likely to ricochet when it connects with a hard surface. Revolvers and lever-actions do not need jacketed bullets in order to feed smoothly!
rThis relatively soft bullet may deform somewhat as it penetrates soft tissue, and its ballistically efficient round nose profile also transfers impressive energy on impact. At 158 grains, this round’s bullet is all set to depart from a revolver barrel at 755 fps. It should lose no more than 10% of that velocity at 100 yards.
rRemington’s sterling Boxer-pocketed brass cases and classic Kleanbore primers provide reliable performance and the opportunity to handload back at home!
