Description
No one in their right mind would want to be on the receiving end of a 357 SIG, even if its bullet was made out of marshmallow. This round by Federal makes the caliber even more ferocious by giving it a Hydra-Shok projectile. The bullet’s ability to penetrate its target is improved greatly by the unique center post erected in the center of its hollow point nose cavity, which helps to prevent the opening from clogging with debris that would have impacted its ability to initiate expansion. This bullet further features a hard copper jacket that helps it to bust through heavy fabric and other tough barriers. As the bullet penetrates, the notches radiating from its jacket’s tip provide preestablished fault lines that control the direction expansion takes place along. This round’s terminal performance is coupled with great accuracy, and its nickel plated brass casing gives it even further reliability by guarding against corrosion and facilitating cycling in a semi-automatic pistol.
