This is .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) ammunition made by the creators of the caliber, Winchester. These 30 grain rounds are great for rabbits, squirrels, foxes, and other small game and varmints. Winchester, over many years of refinement, has nearly perfected these rounds for their intended purpose. The Varmint High Velocity line of ammo touts itself as faster than relative speeds of competitors and reaches farther ranges faster with flatter flight path. This ammo uses Hornady’s famous V-Max bullets which consist of an expansive hollow cavity topped by a polymer tip which helps reduce drag and retain proper flight characteristics. These rounds leave the muzzle at very high 2,250 feet per second and come 50 rounds to a box.
