rThis cartridge features Hornady’s V-MAX projectile. Its polymer tip sits over and projects down into a precisely formed hollow in its swaged lead core. Upon impact the tip will strike the core’s interior to cause total fragmentation of the bullet — and certain death of the varmint it’s inside of. The V-MAX is exceptionally accurate thanks to its symmetrical polymer meplat and ballistically efficient profile, and this round’s standardized primer and propellant charge deliver a predictable result with every shot.
