Description
Sig Sauer got their start making train cars. Today they make the U.S. Army’s standard-issue sidearm, as well as high-quality ammunition for self-defense. This 9mm ammo may not make its target feel like they’ve been hit by a train per se, but it will certainly underscore the reality that they should not have attacked you.
rThis cartridge showcases the reliable terminal ballistics of Sig’s own V-Crown jacketed hollow point. Like many JHPs, its jacket is skived in multiple places to help it fan out more easily. But the V-Crown is unique because its lead core’s nose cavity is also strategically weakened by a symmetrical array of deep cuts. The 115 grain JHP also penetrates to a reliably effective depth courtesy of its toothed cannelure, which prevents setback in the magazine before going on to prevent core and jacket separation following impact.
rThese dedicated personal protection cartridges are loaded with sleek, shiny and corrosion resistant brass cases. They are especially well suited for night shooting, as their reduced flash propellant charges emit less blinding light on ignition. Made in America, ten boxes per case!
