Description
This 45 ACP Golden Saber round by Remington is crowned with a 185 grain projectile, the jacket of which is made of cartridge brass rather than copper gilding metal. The superior hardness of brass means that this bullet is thus able to penetrate a target very reliably, even if it first has to pass through a tough barrier en route to said target. During penetration, this bullet’s wide hollow point works in conjunction with the spiral cut serrations around its tip to create a deep and devastating wound channel, passing on the bulk of its energy within the target while lessening the chances of overpenetration.

rThis round’s brass casing is plated with nickel in order to protect it from corrosion and facilitate smooth cycling. Its propellant delivers a relatively dim muzzle flash, which is optimal should you ever have to draw your weapon in the dark and not wish to be blinded by the first shot you fire. This round’s mouth and primer are also waterproofed, providing a little more assurance that you’ll be able to defend yourself in an uncertain world.
