Weighing in at 155 grains, these innovative XTP bullets are specially designed by industry leader Hornady. Currently, the Hornady XTP is one of the industry’s most popular handgun bullets and is largely used for self-defense, target shooting, and hunting.

XTP bullets are manufactured with special serrations that divide the bullet into symmetrical sections. These precise jacket serrations strategically weaken the gilding metal and aid low velocity terminal expansion. Additionally, the hollow point of each XTP is entirely encased in the jacket, thus eliminating any exposed lead. This design preserves hollow point integrity and allows the cavity to function flawlessly upon target impact. This smooth design also ensures proper feeding in modern semi-automatic firearms.

Packed in 25-round boxes, this ammunition is non-corrosive, boxer primed, and features high-quality nickel-plated brass cases. Not only does nickel-plated brass provide reliable feeding and function, the bright case color also makes the cartridge easier to load in low light self-defense situations. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1160 feet per second, each round generates 463 foot pounds of muzzle energy.
