Description
Carry smartly with these High Terminal Performance (HTP).38 Special rounds from Remington. Each cartridge is topped with a 110 grain semi-jacketed hollow-point (SJHP) projectile backed by a standard pressure load; the combination offers a relatively flat trajectory, high velocity, and manageable recoil with J-Frames, LCRs, and other small frame revolvers. The SJHP bullet’s copper jacket extends halfway up the exposed portion of the bullet, leaving the hollow cavity as naked lead.
rThis construction more reliably produces threat-stopping expansion, even at lower velocities, while the jacketed base and toothed cannelure prevent separation from the lead core and preserve much-desired penetration. Remington’s HTP line also uses premium grade components like reloadable brass-casings which are coated with nickel for corrosion resistance, easy identification, and seamless loading and ejection. Those casings are fitted with clean-igniting primers which are tested to function in wide range of extreme temperatures.
