Description
Remington’s High Terminal Performance (HTP) cartridges are an excellent choice for self-defense when you’re on a budget but don’t want to sacrifice quality or dependable function. Each of these .357 Magnum rounds comprises a reloadable brass casing equipped with a non-corrosive Boxer primer and filled with clean-burning propellant. That amalgamation is topped off with a classic semi-jacketed hollow point (SJHP) projectile which is designed for expansion as a duty, hunting, and personal defense implement.
rThis performance is made possible by a hollow cavity carved into a soft nose of exposed lead. The rest of the body is jacketed in gilding metal which prevents the round from expanding prematurely during target entry. A heavy weight of 180-grains ensures serious momentum transfer when the bullet expands and comes to a stop in a target, yielding a more effective stop. The heavy weight also translates to a longer body which lends greater surface area to rifling and produces tighter accuracy with long barrels. Remington design the HTP lineup with knowledge gained from over 200 years of manufacturing firearms, designing calibers, and constantly refining ammunition.
