Description
Great accuracy alone is not enough to topple a varmint or predator with a 22 WMR rifle. You also want to overcome your quarry with overwhelming terminal ballistics. Federal’s Varmint & Predator line of 22 Mag ammo does both thanks to the power of the Speer TNT jacketed hollow point!
rThis round’s bullet flies flat and true thanks to its light 30 grain weight, virtually perfect jacket concentricity and very narrow meplat. Expect the bullet to avert transonic destabilization until it reaches about 150 yards (if you are firing a rifle; this round’s muzzle velocity will become significantly lower if you are firing a pistol instead).
rThe TNT JHP is designed to self-destruct instantly after colliding with a thin-skinned quarry. That copper jacket is extremely thin, and it is even weaker thanks to the long flutes which run down the length of its interior. As the result the bullet bursts apart into shrapnel to ensure a fast and humane kill. This ammo’s Idaho-made bullets are loaded by Federal in Minnesota with premium brass cases, low-residue propellant and snappy rimfire primers. Ten plastic boxes come to a case!
