rThis round has a 38 grain bullet, loaded to supersonic velocity no less. Its relatively robust chamber pressure ought to be more than adequate to cycle a semi-auto – AR-15 and Glock 44 owners, this is a nod to you.
rThis is our favorite type of 22 LR bullet: a copper-plated hollow point. Its thin metallic sheath hardens the bullet to prevent it from becoming pinched by a semi-auto’s feeding mechanism and goes on to prevent rapid barrel fouling. Its nose cavity delivers terminal expansion, making the bullet as worthy of cans and bottles as it is squirrels and raccoons.
