rThis cartridge is loaded with a 40 grain bullet. At 1,255 fps, it ranks right in the middle of the high-velocity range – so long as you’re firing a rifle, that is. But even a semi-automatic handgun should get enough pressure from this ammo to cycle smoothly.
rThe lead round nose is a perfect bullet for shooting inanimate objects. It can’t deliver terminal expansion, but it can punch a hole through paper or ring a steel target with the best of them. This round’s bullet is not plated, but it’s not like copper-plated bullets eliminate barrel fouling anyway.
rBrass-cased, noncorrosive primed, and packaged 100 boxes per case. Plus it’s American-made, unlike most of the stuff you’d get down at the Dollar Emporium.
