Description
.308 German Military 147 Grain FMJ Ammo on stripper clips
rrThis .308 (7.62×51 NATO) military-grade ammunition was manufactured at the Hirtenberger Ammunition Plant, located in Austria. Hirtenberger ammunition is widely considered the finest foreign military ammo money can buy. Offering smooth feeding and dependable performance, Hirtenberger ammunition has a long history of quality assurance.
rrThis German surplus ammo is packed in 50 caliber ammo cans, and comes on 5-round stripper clips in 5-pocket bandoleers. Each round is loaded with a 147 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile. Utilizing a lead core and a bi-metal jacket, these rounds may attract a magnet. These FMJ loads produce excellent penetration with no bullet expansion, making them an ideal choice for target training and high-volume tactical drills.
rrThese rounds are brass cased, Berdan primed, and non-reloadable. Leaving the muzzle at a consistent velocity of 2751 feet per second with 2428 foot pounds of energy, these surplus rounds may have been manufactured in the 1970s or 1980s, but remain reliable, consistent, and accurate.
