rThis round sports a 38 grain projectile which exits the muzzle at 1,260 fps. It is a copper plated bullet that will both preserve your weapon’s bore and facilitate penetration to a degree. Once within its target the bullet will open up to do greater damage. It’s perhaps overkill for some purposes, but for a few cents a round you can afford the extra firepower. This round has Federal’s own brass and rimfire primer, and its propellant will keep your bore cleaner as well.
