rThe CX has a lot going on under its hood. The monolithic bullet’s optimum groove geometry reduces fouling by minimizing the shank’s contact with the bore, and is intensely aerodynamic to boot. The CX also features Hornady’s Heat Shield polymer tip, which is rugged enough to withstand aerodynamic friction without warping.
rThe tough little 150 grain CX is capable of retaining no less than 95% of its weight as it drills thorough tough tissue. But deep penetration isn’t enough to do the trick, which is why the CX is also designed to undergo broad expansion. It’s terminal performance that is only made better by the nontoxic bullet’s inability to contaminate venison!
