rRio loads this little shell with #7.5 shot. That shot size is one of the most commonly used at the range, especially for handicap trap, because its size reliably pulverizes pottery and its range is rather generous. While this shell’s pattern can’t be too tight with only 175 shot pellets to its name, it does take advantage of spherical, deformation resistant lead and a high quality wad to make up for the 410’s inherent shortcomings.
