Description
The 410 Bore isn’t some juggernaut of a shotgun shell that can take down anything that moves. But when it’s loaded with a rifled slug, the little round can capably manage self-defense and most hunting applications!
rSterling loads this shell in the nation of Turkey. Its 1/4 ounce rifled slug hasn’t got a hollow point nose cavity, and cannot expand as a result – but that does mean you can anticipate deeper penetration after impact. The slug’s rifling enables it to safely pass through a choke, and it will also treat the barrel of any Judge or Governor revolver correctly.
rSterling backs their solid lead slug with a plastic wad. It has a ring-shaped midsection which compresses during ignition – a good feature if you’re doing all you can to avoid recoil. Sterling is a modern ammo manufacturer, and exclusively loads primers that will not corrode steel. No need to give your firearm special cleaning after you’ve finished a round of target practice!
