rThis 40 S&W cartridge sports a 130 grain solid copper hollow point, which is loaded to hit a muzzle velocity of 1,247 fps in conjunction with a 6†barrel. That’s why this round is set to hit you with lighter recoil than what you might be accustomed to – although it still cycles a semi-auto, and still reaches a close-range threat with ample kinetic energy for personal defense.
rThe SCHP bullet’s monolithic composition eliminates lead fouling to help preserve accuracy, and it also promotes near-perfect weight retention through a wide variety of urban barriers. In addition to achieving a consistent penetration depth, the SCHP reliably expands by sticking out five very harmful flat petals. One shot to a threat’s center of mass will most probably spell the end of the dangerous encounter.
