rThis 20 Gauge shell is loaded with #7.5 shot, but it’s not meant for bursting clays. Its supersized one ounce column of shot delivers the thick spread you want for effectively hunting dove, quail, partridge, grouse, bunnies, and even the unfortunately named chukar. Rio maximizes their hunting shell’s performance with hard, spherical, and consistently sized shot pellets, all pushed evenly out of the barrel by a high density plastic wad.

rRio’s proprietary powder blend and non-corrosive primer lend themselves to a fixed 1,250 fps muzzle velocity – supersonic for a flatter, easy to direct trajectory. Fix on reloading this ammo once you’ve reduced it to hulls!
