This 20 Gauge shotshell from Federal’s Prairie Storm line of ammunition will help you to level the playing field the next time you’re out in pursuit of wily upland game courtesy of its unique mix of #4 shot. Seventy percent of this shell’s shot is plated with copper, hardening it to ensure both its straight flight as well as its ability to penetrate deeply through a wild bird’s thick plumage. The remaining 30 percent are nickel plated FliteStopper pellets, which have sharp ridges orbiting them. Those ridges slice through a target to create an exceptionally wide and positively traumatic wound channel within it — no pheasant will stand a chance.
rThis shell’s unique shot’s performance is enhanced considerably by its FliteControl rear-braking wad, which provides the dense and consistent pattern required for optimal efficacy on impact. This shell’s propellant is formulated to ignite reliably and leave little residue behind, and its hull is sturdy and by all means worthy of multiple reloads.
