rThis shotshell wallops its target with a ~1-1/10oz. barrage of double-aught. If all nine pellets land on their target at close range, they will collectively strike with over 1,500 ft lbs of kinetic energy. The lead beads are quite rigid, and the shot column is packed with shock-absorbing granulated buffering – both features that help the shell deliver a tighter and altogether more effective pattern.
rWinchester’s Super-X ammunition is typically made in America, but these rounds are an exception. They were made in France by Cheddite, a shotshell manufacturer that has kept their doors open since 1901. Cheddite assembled Winchester components according to Winchester standards, giving this ammo exactly the performance a Super-X fan is already well accustomed to.
