These multi-role 12 gauge shells from Winchester are not only great for skeet and trap games but for upland feathered game as well! Each of these shotshells has a high strength hull for moisture resistance, one of Winchester’s 209 primers for dependable ignition, and the famous AA wad. Winchester’s AA wad design has a perfectly measured rate of collapse which makes the best use of propellant gases in order to produce higher velocity and relatively tighter patterns at distance. These patterns are further improved by the AA wad’s petals which contain the pellets and open up at a specific rate for precise release.
rAs Light Target shells, these rounds exhibit less recoil to a balance between powder measure and the AA wad. Each shell contains 1-1/8 ounce of hardened #7-1/2 shot which is appropriate for dove, quail, woodcock, and wingless clay pigeons. Hardened shot pellets more readily maintain their round shape in order to reduce fliers; this augmentation also penetrates deeper in game birds and breaks clays with proficiency.
