Federal’s steel shot pellets are perfectly spherical, and they’re rigid enough to remain that way as they’re launched to a velocity over 100 fps faster than the speed of sound. This round’s wad is similarly designed to promote narrower pattern density. But that’s not all! It is made of compostable paper, so it will weather away on the ground instead of polluting it for several centuries.
