rThis shell is loaded with two types of shot. At the base of the column is steel BBB shot – fairly standard stuff. The real attraction is the Hevi-Shot pellets at the front of the column, which are made of a special alloy composed of tungsten, iron, nickel and more. Hevi-Shot is significantly denser than steel, and has the effect of putting 20 to 25 percent more pellets on target. Hevi-Shot’s density and irregular profile both give it better wind resistance than round steel shot, as well as greater downrange killing energy.
rThis potent 10 Gauge shell is loaded with fast-burning powder that delivers a blazing 1,350 fps muzzle velocity, as well as an all-weather primer that doesn’t give out in the cold.
