rThis round’s 60 grain FTX projectile is highly accurate, as Hornady knows how to make a jacket virtually perfectly concentric. As it penetrates, the FTX’s elastomer tip will initiate massive expansion that will send an attacker reeling. That Flex Tip further benefits the hollow point by preventing it from becoming obstructed by fabric or other debris before it can do its job.
rThis round comes loaded in a factory fresh brass casing. It’s plated with shiny nickel, so it resists corrosion and cycles as smooth as syrup. Nickel further facilitates an on the fly chamber check, which in conjunction with this round’s low flash propellant makes it ideal for nighttime use.
