Description
Hyperion Munitions is most famous for importing Garaysar firearms from Turkey, but that isn’t the Floridian company’s only trick. They manufacture their Veteran Ammo brand of ammunition right in their home state (and Hyperion is indeed veteran owned and operated).
rThis new production 300 AAC Blackout cartridge is armed with a 147 grain full metal jacket projectile. It is supersonic; it will accelerate its bullet to a velocity faster than the speed of sound, and accordingly produce a cracking report upon ignition. The FMJ features a solid lead core and copper-alloy jacket, neither of which are capable of attracting a magnet. If your range won’t let you in with magnetic ammo, they will let you in with this ammo.
rVeteran Ammo loads new brass cases and noncorrosive Boxer primers. Their ammunition is reloadable, so don’t let those cases sit on the dusty ground. This ammo’s black plastic field box packaging is hardly a mil-spec ammo can, but it does do a nice job protecting its contents from physical damage.
