rThis shell is loaded with 1 1/8 ounces of #8 lead shot. 0.09†diameter pellets can be of plenty use for grounding smaller birds, and we’ve experienced firsthand their efficacy against snakes, but we find #8 lead shot most handy at the trap range where it can disintegrate even the fastest of clays. This shell utilizes hard shot and a even patterning wad to deliver a reliably accurate spread, and its fast burning propellant does an admirable job of enduring a consistent 1,145 fps muzzle velocity.
