Description
You hear all kinds of bad things about plastic: it gets eaten by sea turtles, and pollutes the environment and such. Information like that might just drive a target shooting enthusiast to order a case of Federal Top Gun!
rThis 12 Gauge shotgun shell isn’t devoid of plastic – but it will not launch any of the stuff out of the barrel on ignition. That’s because it’s loaded with a paper wad which is (A) tough enough to withstand ignition without getting shredded apart, and (B) designed to create the efficient seal against the bore requisite for reliable performance. This shell is also loaded with cellulose filler, which is completely organic and compostable.
rThe rest of this shell’s components are perfectly normal (but still high quality, of course). Federal’s Top Gun lead is alloyed with 4% antimony for added hardness, so you can expect the 1-1/8 ounce column’s 394 individual #7.5 shot pellets to issue forth in a narrow cluster. Once you’ve ignited all 250 of these rounds’ noncorrosive primers (which contain lead), you’ll have enough low-brass plastic hulls to handload until your heart’s content!
