These short shells are a DARN HOOT to fire at the range! But don’t mistake Aguila Minishell 12 Gauge ammo for some kind of novelty. Despite being just 1-3/4†long, this shell is the REAL DEALARINO – just as capable of felling a whitetail as it is canceling a determined attacker.
rThis round’s 7/8 ounce slug is rifled (for smoothbore compatibility), made of lead, and backed by enough propellant to launch it at a muzzle velocity of 1,250 fps. Anticipate low recoil (relative to the 12 Gauge, at least), as well as striking energy well in excess of 1,000 ft lbs at close range. With good shot placement, this thing will easily turn Bambi’s socks inside out, and that’s to say nothing of its effect on a threat.
rLow recoil ain’t this shell’s only tactical advantage. Its small size also makes the shell a tad lighter. More importantly, you can stuff almost twice as many of these rounds into a pump-action shotgun’s tubular magazine. Just make sure your make and model is compatible with short shells before investing in the whole 10-box case of ammo!
